This is kay jewelers, they are the most unforgiving company and constantly harass me. I was put on a hardship program where I paid 15.00 a month until I was back to work or paid off my bill which is only 285.00 without all the penalties and interest they have tacked on when they weren't supposed according to the program. I paid without fail on time my 15.00 a month since Feb 2012 at the store cash no worries about bounced cks etc. Then in mid stream I start getting phone calls again (Along paying my 15.00) , When i finally talked to someone I was told several disturbing things. #1) They don't show me in a program at all... I gave them the name of the person whom set me up and all conversations we had> 2) besides I was in default for missing my initial payment to start the program. of 45.00 they say it was returned back to my card. Now that is a crack up I dont have a credit card of any kind to return it back to i pay cash at the store always, there response was well we show it was returned to your card! i have a receipt for my transaction.. well that was not good enough they said it didnt prove anything! WTH it is a receipt for cash 45.00. they don't show it back and forth i have proof i paid they have no proof they returned funds to my card or they refuse to produce the proof.. and #3) they wanted to put me on another hardship plan for 25.00 when i explained I could only pay the 15.00 they would not even consider it. I thought in this state of Calf. if you were attempting to pay in good faith what ever amt you could each month that the company could not do anything to you. So as the story goes I could not make the 25.00 as I told them now I am in default and they are calling me 3,4 and 5 times a day. To me this is harassment and they need to check to make sure someone has not already contacted the customer one call is enough everyday is not going to make my life easier thereby not making there life any better either if i get a job tomorrow then they are on the list to be paid. Damn it they are heartless and besides this is there fault i was ontime and paid the 15.00 without fail but they were not happy with that. to bad for them i guess.
