Same as all the rest of you. Called my cell at 1:07 today. Didn't pick up didn't leave a message. This is a short thread just in the last few hours this one popped up, so must be a 'new number'.
TOTAL SCAM, CLAIM TO BE CALLING ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AND HOW THEY HAVE AN OFFER TO LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATE. I GOT CONNECTED TO ONE OF THE REPS, SOME FOREIGN DOOSH WHO COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH AND ASKED HIM WHICH CARD HE WAS CALLING ON. HE NAMES OFF A BUNCH OF MAJOR CREDIT CARD COMPANIES AND I ASK AGAIN, WHAT CARD OF MINE ARE YOU CALLING ON. HE SAYS "CHASE CARD VISA". I TELL HIM I DON'T HAVE A CHASE CARD VISA SO HE SAID HE'S CALLING ON MY CAPITALONE VISA. I TELL HIM I DON'T HAVE A CAPITALONE VISA. THEN I ASK HIM IF HE EVEN KNOWS WHO HE IS CALLING. HE SAYS SURE HE KNOWS WHO I AM. SO I ASK HIM WHO I AM AND HE READS OFF SOME WEIRD FOREIGNER NAME. I TOLD HIM "WRONG, NO GO SHOVE YOUR F'ING SCAM UP YOUR AAZZZ YOU F'ING SCAMMER" AND HUNG UP ON HIM

DO NOT !!!!!!!!! GIVE THEM YOUR NAME OR ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
They called me about 30 mins ago. My phone was (fortunately) set to vibrate, so I missed the call. Glad I didn't answer. I am rather enjoying my high interest rates! ;) Inside sales is a desperate a brave occupation. Sorry they were so rude to you!
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give your credit card number to these lowlifes, or you will regret it forever!
Yep, it must be from a call center, so the number will likely call again, with another sale. I add each number to my phone contacts list with an image of a phone with a red slash through it. I label it, "Sales Call," under the last name section, and "Do not answer!" under the company name section. Saves stress. The stop calling after you ignore them enough. Highly recommend. xoxo
Save that number to your contacts and note that you asked them not to call again. If they do, you can take the complaint to the better business bureau. (If it is worth your time...) =)
