Prerecorded phone call to business line about security alarms. Pressed 1, and got an additional 'pre-qualification' agent with the standard questions (do you own the home, do you have a system, are you under contract). Well, of course I wanted to make the agent happy, so provided him with the right answers. Transfers me to another person which 'confirms' everything, and start finding out about the systems they offer.
The pre-recorded calls are made directly on behalf of SafeGuard, unfortunately I can't tell if it's Safeguard America or Safeguard Security and Surveillance. They both appear to telemarket and have openings posted on their web sites and other locations. If they call back, will try to get heir web site to confirm. I'm hedging toward SafeGuard America (http://gesafeguard.com) since they mentioned they were GE equipment providers.
At least it wasn't another Monitronics deal, not that it makes it any more acceptable...
