PC Tech Support SCAM. Hang-up, do not talk to them.....unless you have, (as I do,) lots of PC knowledge and wish to string them along thinking they have 'landed' a big fish....heh heh
August 23, 2016 - 10:55 am - Rec'd phone call from male subject who identified himself as John from some type of a computer company. Very strong accent. I immediately explained before he had a chance to say any more that my computer was working fine and he was obviously a scammer. I further said..."Am I right." He did not talk any more and that ended the call.
Scam call from a man with an accent saying he was representing 'windows tech support' and that my computer was compromised and since I was a registered genuine user he could show me how to fix it if I went to the computer. Hung up.
