This number is a spoof number just hang up them they buy information and than call looking for victims I got the same type off call . They so many scam s out there this one the fake IRS scam, the free grant scam, fake computer computer techs calling I don't answer no more numbers I don't no even the town I live called warning people about these scams every town should do this
Called from this number looking for my daughter who doesn't live with me, claiming she owed money to a cell phone company from eight years ago. Sounds fishy. Gave me another number for my daughter to call. But, I think even if money was owed...the statute of limitations is only six years, and why hasn't there been any communication from the cell phone company until now? The number she gave me, is a number some people had similar issues with.
Caller claimed to be from a location service and that some "complaint has been filed against you". She gave me a case or file number and a number to call - (866) 249-8325. But when she ended the phone call with a threatening tone, something along the lines of you have an hour to contact them before they send it to court; I knew it was total scam BS. I told her that she was a fraud and let her have it until she hung up. Called number and it was for JE Group (look them up, total fraud). They wouldn't even give me the scam because I refused to verify any information over the phone. Do not give them any info.
I had almost the exact same experience as T.Buck. Only difference was I looked up his review before calling them. When I called her out she got flustered and would not listen to anything I said. I instructed her that anyone that has a "Complaint" against me can send communication to the address they have on file. I told her to put a "DO NOT CALL" note on my file but I am not certain if she knows how to spell words.
They contacted my son-in-law and told him alomst the exact same stuff. He knew it was insane and checked them out and contacted me. Left this for me to contact them: 866-249-8325. File number is RH2481. I looked up the numbers and found his website. WARNING!
