This gentleman called me claiming to be from Microsoft and that I had an issue with my computer, I told him I didn't have a Microsoft computer then he proceeded to ask me if anybody else in my household in and what type. Feeling uneasy about that question I told him it was none of his business. Before I could ask another question and he hung up.
A man claiming to be Microsoft computer tech. My computer is operating badly and error messages constantly showing up is his reason for calling me. I decided to ask a plethora of questions as to how they would know this and how they could track my computer to my phone number. I asked what country he was calling from her said U.S., Texas. I asked for the company phone number here gave me 888-341-0111 and his supposed name is Eric McCollum, hahaha totally laughable! but whatever. I asked how my issues could be fixed, he started giving me directions on the computer which I wasn't following just pretending and telling him no nothing is happening at all on my screen. Then I got bored and told him I'd call him back later I promise.
