caller ID read: NJGANDE #551-245-8380 - the man claimed to be calling from an energy company. I asked him to remove our (business) name from the list. He said no. I asked to speak to the supervisor. He continued talking, I hung up.
A woman called me today saying she was from NJ Energy (I think) and wanted to speak to the person in charge of my account. My phone line is a business line that is paid for by my employer who is in a different state, which is what I told her. I told her she'd have to speak to my administrator, but before I give her my admin's phone number, I asked her "Is this a marketing call?" and she gave me a [***] answer "Well, you can say that."
Then I asked her specifically that I NEED to know if this is a marketing call or not, because she is calling my business. (I'm not going to give my administrator's phone number to a marketer.) Then she answered yes. I told her to remove my phone number because she is interrupting my business.
