I get this annoying call every once in awhile...when I see area code 551 I know it's a scam. They don't leave any message and this has been going on for months now. I thought I blocked their original calls - but to be sure I blocked it again. How stupid do they think everybody is? I guess there's a few gullible people out there....
I received a call today on my cell phone. they left a msg that sounded like a computer generated voice asking for me by my first name but you can tell it was computer generated and it repeated it twice during the msg and then the call disconnected.
I never answer a call from a number I do not recognize or is blocked, private, or unregistered. Called several times and left no messages. I tried to call back but number wasn't in service. I checked the actual number against the approved area codes data bases and this comes up as non existence. I personally believe this number is spoofed and therefore used for fraudulent activities. Now that I have this number in my phones data base I will save it and block all calls from it... Wow this is easy...
