When I first discovered 800notes I was thrilled to find that other people were getting these persistent calls. I wasn't the only one feeling powerless and frustrated. As the number of calls to my phone increased (exponentially ?) I came to this website frequently to check out the information on each number. For a while I felt the DNC list wasn't working. I was impatient and ignorant of the time, energy and technical skill involved in investigating and charging these pests.
Individuals on this website explained (repeatedly) what the DNC list could and could not do. We visitors were given tools and advice about how to handle these unwanted calls. Gradually I began to feel less powerless and more empowered. I especially like the articles section, but the links to other websites. The one you referenced in your post (FTC Enforcement) gives a long lists of successes in prosecuting these pests. I feel less ignorant and much more patient.
