Just got a call from this #. Didn't recognize it so cancelled the call by pressing hang-up button on cell. Do Not Call Registry has never worked and, even if it does, I'd bet they are swamped with a billion complaints. I have call blocking but it is limited to 30 numbers. Verizon also offers blocking for 20 numbers for $5.00 per month. Talk about blood suckers. I read an earlier post about some call blocking apps which I am going to check out further.
Yeah- got a call from these jerks too. We all need to find us a good hacker who can develop software to prescreen all of this garbage via a home computer and only pass calls from numbers that we program in. That way any all of the political crap, scams etc., go in the trash. A hacker like that'd make a fortune because the software would be the death of all robo-calls, political polls, phishing scams and telemarketers.
We have received numerous calls from both numbers, they try to sell us solar panels with one call and the next they want access to my computer so they can fix the errors they (so called) received from my computer. My husband has been a private software tester for Microsoft for years and builds our computers, he updates and cleans our computer daily. I told this to the man who keeps calling (with thick Indian accent) however, he ignored me and keeps calling. Now, my husband blocks all the different numbers each time we get a call hoping to keep the a**holes from calling. It seems to be working, the calls have slowed and when they can't get a person, it defeats their plan.
