I received a call from the number 1(407)337-9114, and the exact same thing happened to me. The name was John Morgan and he said he would pay more for my truck then I asked. Then said I need to pay "1st divine transportation 900 through western union and then I will get the rest of my money. It is a scam. My truck was posted on kijiji in Canada. The buyers number is from Florida. I received the call about 2 hours after posting the ad. They are trolling looking for suckers. If it sounds to good to be true it is. Stay away only cash. They even used pay pal emails that looked legit. Be very aware.
I have my car up on kijiji and Clifton Morgan contacted me, I gave this guy my name and my address before I realized that this was a scam. I just hope they don't steal my identity. I guess I will have to check my credit reports. I don't think they could get credit in my name anyway but you never know. I can't believe that these idiots haven't been shut down because they are using the same names just seem to be rotating and mixing up the names except it is the same 1st Devine international limited every time. I feel pretty silly giving my name and address.
Advertised bike parts on Kijiji in northern Alberta, Canada and David Tucker wanted to purchase but would only do so through Pay Pal. Set up account and received email from Pay Pal that funds were being held until we forwarded the $900.00 he had included in his Pay Pal transaction to us. Wondered why he would pay us for shipping and not transport company (1st Divine International) so googled transport company and found this wonderful website. Thanks everyone for your posts - if we all keep after these frauds maybe they will get caught or at least we will help others out.
I got the same scam. I am reporting it to FBI... it is an American con artist and he needs to be shut down and charged. I luckily after sending a money graham was able to stop the transaction before 24 hours or I would have lost $1200.00.
