Who called from 5613285179

I frequently get calls from 561-328-5179 located in Florida asking about a commonly available item listed on Craigslist located in Southern California.  Web indicates this number is connected with a Craigslist scammer.

Dealing with this same craigslist spammer now. Thanks for the heads up.

This guy texted me asking me for bank account information scammer I had an ad on craigslist selling an item

Yes I received a text message from this number in regards to an item I posted on Craigslist and he stated that he wanted to purchase my item and asked for me to take it off Craigslist and he was gonna send me a check within the next 4-7 days, he also asked for my name and address where to mail the check and like an [***] I gave it to him, can this person do anything with my info that I gave him? Please let me know! Thanks.

Yep. Just listed something in California for $500 and two hours later they text me asking is it still available?  Sounds like a scammer to me.
