Second call from ACC regarding a supposed debt of my grown son. Says my number was listed as a contact. Caller rude and argumentative. First call he made demeaning remarks about my son who is mentally challenged. Second call asked if I would pay of his debt or have him call ACC. Threatens lawsuit and garnishee of my sons disability income since he has no assets.
this number called me saying they had a court summons to serve me but it was not true. I called the county court house and no one had a summons to serve. The people are saying they are from a law firm which is not true this is a collection agency trying to collect on a debt. It will not go on your credit, but they tell you this just to get you to pay. No one is coming to serve you. They are rude, the lady name Kim was the manager and Renee" was the process server They are a scam do not pay these people.
I just got a call from a male voice asking for a Stephen - when I told them that it was the wrong number they got kinda huffy and said they were from an attorney's office and were investigating that number for fraud in connection to a business in Tucson (my area code is Tucson, although I do not live there). He said that I may be subpeona'd, but didn't ask me for any information and it ended there. Maybe they realized I wasn't having any of it? I regret that I didn't get snippier at them!
Have been receiving calls from this number for couple of months. Female caller did not identify herself but said I had a bill from 2003 from Lab Corp that had never been paid. She wanted CC# to cover bill. I told her to send me the information and I would handle payment with Lab Corp. They stopped calling for a while but have now started up again. They have to send me proof of the debt before I pay anything and I'm certainly not giving them my cc#!!!!!!!!
