Who called from 5702341135

Thanks to everyone for posting here.  I posted an ad on craigslist and "Gary Bobby" responded very quickly. My first clue that this was a scam was that he wanted to know if the "item was still available?" Any time someone uses the word "item" instead of the actual item, such as table, futon, dishes, etc, I become suspicious.
It's very easy to copy and paste a question to many people in a short amount of time.  Changing "Item" to Table" takes more time.

That is not me sending out the checks.  My credit card information was stolen by the wait staff at a local restuarant here in town.  I contacted the FBI and Secret Service, plus the fraud office for UPS.  Apparently UPS will open an account over the phone if there is a credit card to bill shipments to.  They mater violators that sent the checks out must think there are some stupid people in the world. I found this message by accident and I would hope that everyone who were victims to this scame would pull their message.  I have the same complaint that you do...getting scammed.

Just reading some of these complaints and I think I may be a victim as well I just received a check by fedex wrapped in 2 blank white pieces of paper for $2500.00 I been doing surveys and was told I'd be paid for them but I am not sure about this and i called the bank and the acct is legit so I don't know but I got a funny feeling in my gut. Maybe its cuz i don't think i am lucky enough to have 2 grand drop in my lap. If anyone can verify that an email address i'm listed was ever used as contact info for anyone of you that were scammed then maybe we can get this person and stop him from doing this to anyone else.

Well if this guy has been doing this since 2007 or before why in the world hasnt anyone put him away? I just got an email from a mr donald duke- telling me to take my add off craigslist that he was serious about buying my 500$ tires and wanted my full name address and phone number(s) and he would have a shipping company come get them from my front door and take to him, My tires are in alaska and he said he was in south dakota.

I haven't recieved a call from this guy yet but I have been in contact with him by email for the last 2 days and it sounds like the same guy!! I got a funny feeling after I had already sent him my address and realized at the bottom of his eail he said I would not be responsible for shippin but he was including a shipping fee for my 52" TV that he hasn't even seen a picture of!! The emails are as follows:
