I thought it sounded like a scam so I googled Donald Duke and sure enough, here is a listing of the same exact issues I'm facing. Listed my car on Craigslist, his email asked that I remove it from Craigslist (which I did not) and he would send me not only enough money to buy the car, but extra to pay his movers to move it as he would be on exhibition in the UK for 5 days. He even offered an extra $100 for my trouble. Ha ha! That was the tip I needed to know this guy was not for real. I'm in Texas and he says he's in South Dakota, no offer to haggle on the price of my car or any questions asked. You are right, now he has my name, address and phone. Not sure what he can do with my info, the check is to come overnight. I'm contacting my credit reporting agency with a fraud alert now just in case. Beyond that, any suggestions?
i also started on creigslist recently, i got the exact email,donald duke except insteat of donaldduke2004 it was donaldduke2005, and the wording was almost exact. in my ad i said no shiping must retreave i will not post in mail.

now he offered that i keep the items till the check cleared so i really didnt think it was a scam. not for money anyways,according to you guys its a scame to get your name and address. thats a new one but im learly and have replyed one more time to see what will be said.

I just got an email for this Donald Duke for a post I had on craigslist, I got the dame story you got. Nice! I googled his name and got all kinds of bad stuff about this so called donald duke! You would think he would at least change his name. He told me he was fro SD but his email address is regestered in CA.
