Tell your bank or card issuer you've been scammed, ask that your bank/issuer claw back money from the thief, and ask that your card be replaced with a new one as criminals have it and can charge again. Be aware your contact info may have been sold to other scammers as someone who has fallen for this and you may get more scam calls in the future.
they keep calling my house about suing my mom and i kinda just make fun of him and its obviously someone playing games he says his name is robin mccallister and that he works for art catering (not like catering food) im getting really pissed off and i will call the cops

If thyey call you, tell them that the Federal Fair Debt collection act requires them to mail verification of debt. If they say they cannot do this. It is a scam. I have saved the number and anytime I am having a bad day, I call them and give them a hard time. Also ask for a physical address.
These people called me as well and they told me it was from a loan company in which i had taken out a loan from. i paid them$575 does anybody know what can be done about this? if so email me at [email protected]
This is a version of the you-have-committed-a-crime extortion scam and you are being...
1. charged with fraud or passing bad checks or embezzlement or
2. served with a court summons or arrest warrant or bench warrant or whatever or
3. located in preparation to being served or for a lawsuit or to be arrested or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.
And you have to...
1. call back with your case number or
2. confirm your address or SSN or whatever so you can be served or your papers can be processed or
3. pay $895 now to avoid paying $5,000 in court or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.
Beware extortion scams come in many flavors and they constantly evolve to stay one step ahead of the law.
