Guys, PLEASE do not answer numbers you don't recognize if you don't want to end up getting on every spammer list in the world. Once they know it's a working number, it gets moved on up the food chain for more scammers. If it's a legit person/business, they'll leave a msg. Then Google the number like you've done here to get more info. Answering is just NOT a good idea.
I've gotten several calls from them. As I was on a walking break during my run I decided to press 1. Asked to be put on do not call list, his reply, "why?" I knew it was a scam when I heard the message but the stupidness of the people to not realize someone would pick up on it there. I decided to help everyone out and waste as much of his time as possible by cussing at him repeatedly. It gave me energy for my next bit of running.
How does this website not have scam as a type of phone call?
Just got the call. Recorded message to lower my interest rate on my credit card. I did talk to an operator. She said they could lower my rate because of my excellent payment history over the past 8 months. I "verified" with her that she had my account information. When she said she did, I asked her to tell me my name. (click).
