That's why you want to let it go to answering machine. That way you don't have to deal with some scammer ruining your day. I havent answered unknown callers for over 2 years and life is great. I have my sanity and since I also block them from ever getting to the answering machine after the first call I get to laugh st them. It doesn't get any better than that. They get hung up on and they waste their time calling and calling as they will never get through to a human at my phone number. I win they lose.
He calls at various times several days a week and asks for someone by name using a different number and location each time. I never answer and let all unknown calls go to the answering machine and he ask for someone in household by name.....he should be locked up forever. All this rotten world thinks of is cheating someone out of money. Come on Karma!
570-794-5445 -- Called here yesterday at 9:30 and today at 8:06 a.m. I rang them back and got some message that they were helping other customers, then given options such as pressing number two to be taken off their calling list. This message continued with their hours of operation, weekdays and Saturday, etc. But nowhere did they ever mention their corporate name or principal place of doing business or just what that business is. It is very strange and not normal for a company's telephone greeting message not to reveal their corporate name when you called them. Don't press any numbers if you call them back. Yesterday, this burly and very deep-toned masculine voice asked in my voicemail "Are you there?" And today he left a message that sounded more like a grunt. Again, what business leaves messages like this? Last question: Just how do they get your phone number and how do they know we're Senior Citizens? Because only Senior Citizens still use landlines?
