Live caller asked for previous owner of business, so I asked what the call was in reference to and was informed it was to "save money on health insurance".
It is a business line and has to be answered
i never answer my phone at home. After being on the phone 14 hours a day at work i don't care to speak to anybody on my home phone
Got a call from the number, no reply when I said hello and then a female voice mumbled something incoherent and hung up on me. I called the number back and received option to be added to DNC list. They said it would be a week before I could be deleted. We'll see....
Caller i.D. Shows sayre pennsylvania.
I gave greeting and ask them to hold(veeerry busy here)

The light went off on the hold after about 20 seconds.
They hung it up.
Called to send me papers and wanting to verify my address, no thank you, When I asked to be removed off the calling list, I got "crickets" on the other end, the telemarketer had already hung up on me! What a nuisance
This is a criminal enterprise pretending to be a debt collector. There is no "do not call" list for debt collectors until and if you send them a letter telling them to cease and desist. It wouldn't matter in this case because criminals don't obey anything except their greed for money. You are the target of extortionists. You need to learn what you need to know to prevent yourself from becoming the victim of this crime:
