Automated message stating the call was regarding my current credit card account (did not specify a bank/company name) and that there is nothing wrong with the account but there is an opportunity to reduce the interest rate to 6%. Final notice to reduce interest rate. Press 1 to talk to a representative. Press 2 to disconnect.
I didn't press anything and the call disconnected.
I answered a call from this number and got the same recording. I did speak to a person but they could not tell me which account they were calling about so I hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.
SPAM: Also got the robocall recording on my do-not-call-listed cell-phone about my final chance to lower credit card interest. Since I don't have one they can't steal from me (and my bank). Sooner or later the FCC will do something about this. Why they can't get the info from the NSA is beyond me.
