This organization has been calling twice a day for the past three weeks. I finally answered the phone today. They tried to sell me duct cleaning and a furnace tune-up for $59. They tried to schedule me for next week. I let them keep talking then told them I owned and HVAC company and didn't need them. They apologized and thanked me. Received another call less than 1 hour later. When I answered the call it was a dead line. They never mentioned their name.
Another call from a harrassing nobody. But this time someone said "Hello" in voice that sounded like it was from an elderly woman. Don't worry little hello lady I am not going to let you clean out my bank account or clean my air heating pipes that I don't have.
These people have called my house 4-5 times a day. I'm on the do not call list. I have also called them back and selected #2 to be taking off of their call list. Said to allow 48 hours. Well it's been 100 hours and they are still calling. Just listed as cleaning service.
When you know it's a nuisance caller (as in this case), don't ever call them back. If you do, the law (strangely) allows them to keep calling you (not that they care about breaking the law). It's unlikely the FCC or FTC will do anything in response to a complaint either. The only real solution is to block the nuisance callers and scammers. Just keep adding numbers to your block list.
