This organization has been calling twice a day for the past three weeks. I finally answered the phone today. They tried to sell me duct cleaning and a furnace tune-up for $59. They tried to schedule me for next week. I let them keep talking then told them I owned and HVAC company and didn't need them. They apologized and thanked me. Received another call less than 1 hour later. When I answered the call it was a dead line. They never mentioned their name.
They call now and then, but if I pick up, the line is dead, so what's that about? We're on the DNC list, have never used a cleaning service. The 571 area code serves the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. We're in the Maryland suburbs of DC, so I guess you could call that "local". Never had voice mail from them.
Any legit company will not be calling you like this, yes, i get these calls several times a day, everyday,,including Sunday!!!!
The phone number can be from anywhere in the world due to the digital software that can use any phone number. I get a phone call from my own phone number and my name! ( i only have 1 phone --so I'm not calling myself). The Do not call list is used by the scammers to collect phone numbers, that's how screwed up the Federal Government is!
Telemarketers should be banned ...there is no good reason for their existence. Most of the calls originate from Florida and the 'boiler rooms' located there-even though the area code shows someplace else.
Probably have had 50 calls from "Cleaning Service"over the past few months. One solution is to block the number, but they seem to have a new one every few weeks - these seem to be hijacked numbers. Reported some of the original numbers to the FCC - that and yelling at the Oak tree in my yard has had the same effect.
I see the unwanted calls from the cleaning service company (571-389-7327) as started once again. They called on 1/03/2015 at 11:00 AM and as usual no VM was left. Are they that desperate for business that they have to constantly call people, especially on the weekends?
