Commonwealth Financial. Attempting to collect SOL debt that was paid in full over eight years ago. The rep "Mike" stated that they had sent me a proof of debt which they hadn't, then went on a rampage saying that I was going to be sued, they would attach my bank account. When he demanded my credit card info, I hung up and blocked the number.
If you get a call from them don't acknowledge anything, just hang up.
Received a call from 571-441-0116 but didn't answer. Caller ID showed "restricted" for the name.
Don't know anyone by that name so didn't answer. They didn't leave a message either.
Love caller ID, it saves us a lot of frustration. We don't even block numbers anymore as that lets them know we have
a working number. The people we know don't block their caller ID.
Simple solution, no name no answer.
They keep calling, and I block the number, and they call again. They leave no message, and I do not answer calls that I do not recognize.
I have told creditors that we are in bankruptcy, and with the garnishments taken from my husband's check, we cannot pay at this time. We have every intention of taking care of our debt, but the bankruptcy is already taking money from the bankruptcy trustee for the medical bills, but we still get collection calls from these agencies. We're already making payments to them. Is this not enough. We half the time don't even have food money!
