Message on voicemail: "Internal Revenue services the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 573-305-2655. I repeat 573-305-2655. Thank you."
I got a call from this number with an automated message telling me that this was the final notice of a lawsuit the IRS was filing against me and that I needed to call this number to resolve it. I actually called the number and heard the background of a busy phonebank. The guy I talked to briefly was confused about what I was calling about.
Call stated that it was the IRS, I called the number and got some Asian speaking lady asking for mailing address, etc....I ask if this was truly the IRS you already have that on file and besides who is exactly suing me again? She hung up.......lol
