There is a scam where job seekers are invited to sell insurance with offers of good leads. You may have to pay $ for training and the job is *not* an employee position but an independent agent, you get paid on commissions and are expected to recruit new agents as part of your job (multi-level marketing). The leads turn out to be poor and many report a net loss after months of "employment" simply because of expenses (car, meals, clothes, etc.) they have to bear while on the road roving from lead to lead. Am not saying this is the case here but be aware this sort-of-scam exists. It's not a scam in the sense that the few who are naturally gifted with the gab can actually make a living at it but the many who try it and fail call it a scam. Folks, best of luck on finding a job.
Trying to offer me a "great" job in door to door sales. Bogus job, not recommended for anyone, except people living of my tax dollars who need to work somewhere.....
I have never applied to a company called Banker's Life and Casualty?! She left a message saying that she was very interested in my resume and would like to set up an interview...All the while I can hear children playing in the background. The call also came from a 269 are code, but told me to call a number with a 574 area code...RED FLAG!
Only filled out one form online and it was not for this company that I am sure of. Total fake and happily ignoring this message. This seems to have been going on for some time now... not too sure if this should be reported or not. Unless people are submitting forms online using random numbers.
