December 18 2014 - 574-555-0143 - Beware of this fraud! Somone claiming to be a Microsoft rep phoned and insisted I turn on my computer so that he could instruct me how to make adjustments to remove a new virus. I had not identified myself, and when I asked him how he obtained my unlisted phone number there was a pause and then the dial tone.
This guy calls claiming to be from Windows support and saying he can help fix my comouter. Got very snotty when I questioned him and told ME to hang up the call if I didn;t want his help - Scammer!
Keep getting these calls about once a month. They have such poor English that it's hard to make out what they are talking about. It's got to do with fixing your computer if you will give them some information. Another overseas scam coming through a us number.
