They call and threaten you with legal action, which is totally against the law by the way. Chances are, if you have any debt they may be trying to collect it is outside of the statute of limitations (check your local and state laws on time barred debt).
Scumbags hardly describe these low lifes, they are bottom feeders who can't get a real job in the real world.
It is definately a scam, complete with the [***] that perepetuate their trade on un-suspecting citizens. DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT give them any info, DO NOT return their calls, block them from your phone, go on with your life and have NO fear, they will not, can not come to your house or employment. They survive on fear tactics, if you ignore them you will never, ever be contacted by them in any manner other than the illegal threats they spew from their venemous mouths.
You can even use four letter words on them during their call to you should you choose to answer, what are they going to do? They're an illegal enterprise, are they going to go to the authorities lol....they're underground, they're scum.
Have a happy life....you deserve it, don't let these sub-humans ruin your days...they're NOT worth the time.
Keep calling me, 4 times in the past week, leaving basically the same message that everyone is saying. Except they are looking for "Robert" thought about calling them back because they sounded offical to let them know they have the wrong person, but decided not to waste my time. They always end the message with "good luck", good luck to them in their scam. [***].
Just got the call today! I have received these calls in the past too. I've denied owing anything in the past and for them to do what they have to do,I never received anything. they will call your family too.
Received a call today leaving a voicemail that i owed a payday loan and if i sent them $500 i could settle account. Not 5 minutes later my wife received a call but did not answer and also my son received one all with the same message. Big scam !!! I don't have any outstanding loans.
Yep, just another scare tactics scam. I get the same voice mail every day. As they say, never give out any personal or financial information over the phone.
