In 2012 I had a very hard time financially and I did take out a loan with only ONE company but applied with many. I received this type of phone call about Bottom Dollar PayDay Loans back in Feb of this year, I did set up payment arrangements but I know I owed that. They said I was going to be served papers if I didnt set up payment plan blah blah blah and that it was illegal that I closed my bank account (I had read they were a scam so yes I closed it). So I did. $203.33 each month. I have 2 months left. But then today I get a call from NCG saying the same thing about National Payday loans. I am like I never got money from them. I applied but never got money. So then I did research and I found out that debt collectors CANNOT tell you they are taking legal action or talk legal jargon. So now I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get my $813.32 back that I have already given them since clearly what they have done to me in illegal.
I received the same about the names company NCG consultants. They only said about having a complaint about me and if i don't reply immediately they would file. Didn't answer the phone due to NOT knowing the number provided or did I have any friends or family in that time zone. No connections at all. I did call back back and left me hanging so i hung up. Know it is a scam. If it was serious, pretty sure they would have sent me a formal metter stating what it's about, etc. Phony!
This number has been calling me all week. I answered and asked to speak to Ms. Jennings, who they said had sealed my case and they said she was gone for the day. They also said this investigation has been going on for 2 1/2 years and had me served at an address I haven't been at in over 2 years. Also said I would be getting criminal charges filed against me for malicious intent.
NCG Consultants are definitely scammers...I wonder what their personal lives or like...second thought, NO I do not. Sad, because I know there are better jobs out there....goes to figure...most likely minimum education is the problem...if any at all.
Considering the state of the country, war, etc. this is SAD.
These people have been calling me for a couple of weeks around lunch time everyday so I finally answered it the other day and they transferred to someone and they asked me again for my name which I replied "yes this him speaking how can I help you?" and they immediately hung up and didn't call back? What is the point of what they are doing exactly I don't get it? They maybe the lamest scammers ever! LOL
These jerkoffs called me looking for a Paul Johns. They had the audacity to leave an automated message about a "complaint" and a "file". I told them that I had been hearing quite a bit about Mr Johns lately. (Between the two other calls looking for him and the texts prompting him to go to websites to get out of having his wages garnished for payday loans) I told them his not paying is debts are not my problem and to take me off their call list immediately. These people are a scam artist group or a partially legit collection agency going after anyone recklessly whether they are the actual debtor or not. Scumbags either way. I pay my debts and don't write bad checks so don't need to be harassed.
