This number has been calling for about now a week. They call at all different times of the day/night. I never answer they leave me a message saying that they are with NCG and claim they have a complaint. Then say they to talk to me or my legal counsel. Never during that message did they happen to mention their name OR the person that they were trying to get a hold of. I strongly believe this is somevsortvof scam. I've blocked the number but dang I, it still allows them to leave messages.
NCG consultants has called me two days in a row. I called them back today and told them To remove my number from their database. She asked if I had already called and requested my number to be removed. I said no I'm doing that now. She asked for my number; I gave it to her. She then told me I had two complaints against me. I asked her to mail proof of these "complaints" to my US mailing address. I did not provide her with the address. She informed me she will have to turn this over to Georgia. I replied, Great! You do that. She hung up.
They provided me with a name & phone number. They were asking for my attorney's information in regards to two complaints filed against me. They had personal information such as addresses, phone number & the last four digits of my social. They mentioned a computer was linked & somebody received money & they're calling on behalf of the victims. They referred to themselves as NCG consultants. Thankfully I searched and realized this is a SCAM.
These people contacted my husband claiming to have case against for taking money from a "prince" off the internet. But they claimed it was sent to my email. They at first said it was filed through Erie County NY. Then I called them back I have 15+years of collection experience. I called their bluff. They then recanted their previous statements that it was not filed with our county but about to be. I also told them they had false information for my husband. She then said oh sounds like something malicious is going on. Also that of they are trying to collect on a debt it's against the law to divulge any information with verifying his personal information. And the BIGGEST thing they didn't do was say the mini Miranda. Just like the police, collectors, lawyers or not, have to say this when they are collecting on a debt. Once I told her that she then told me that she will take our number and we won't be bothered again
