82814 Called @ 10:56 from 5802569878 Recorded message said, " Don't hang up, this is not a sales call. Attention..." I hung up after tht because it sounds like several of the calls I have recied in the past announcing potential lawsuits for things like asbestos, YAZ, testosterone etc., I just can't waste my life to listen anymore. I do have legitimate deliquent medical bills and always answer, in case it is from one of them.
I just had my phone number changed from one I'd had for over 20 years. The minute I did that, the calls started coming in from this number and others like it. It's impossible to block them all. I never answer them and I'd never consider calling them back. But it IS very annoying.
You're right there is no such thing as *DNC*, but there is such a thing as FTC aka Federal Trade Commission. FYI: They do allow complaints to be filed, and it's good to do so because it catches up to those a**hole telemarketers.
