caller from NY # 585-636-0010 TOTAL fishing attempt- upon answering the number it "rung back" to a guy that asked about an application to return to school and when i graduated high school- i said I'm not answering questions until I know who I'm talking... to which the guy just hung up
I've gotten calls from the 585 number and never answer but next time they call, im going to answer and say " thank you for calling the federal communications commissions do not call registry Wichita hotline, how can I help you" and see what happensn
No message, two calls within a few days of each other on my cell phone, and indicates the number is from New York. I have read on another site, that this is a phantom number, so I don't know how they're going to get this jack*ss.
I am on the Do Not Call List, but I honestly have not noticed a difference in volumes of unsolicited calls in the few years I have been on it. I have reported numbers, but I still get calls from those numbers....do I need to lawyer up or something?
