caller from NY # 585-636-0010 TOTAL fishing attempt- upon answering the number it "rung back" to a guy that asked about an application to return to school and when i graduated high school- i said I'm not answering questions until I know who I'm talking... to which the guy just hung up
I have had the same experience... I keep getting calls from this number asking me for personal information and if I want to continue my education. I have asked numerous people to take me off of their calling list and the phone calls have only increased. I have blocked this number and started to receive calls from other numbers now as well for the same. I hate this!!!
These guys are a scam company. They have fake numbers that, if you call them back, you'll be told it's disconnected, only to receive a call seconds/minutes later from a different one.
Here's a list of them:
9507277897
5259061962
7972896232
5856360010 (Mike from U.S. Education, LOL)
3289623262
The phone number calls me and 5 minutes later I call it back and get some recording saying the number has been disconnected! It is some sort of scam OBVIOUSLY! They must be using some sort of caller id faker program!
