Left message claiming they were IRS and there was a lawsuit against us and that this was the final call. I knew it was a scam but decided to call them back to have some fun with them. Woman with indian accent picked up claiming to be Officer Martina from the IRS. When I asked her to spell her last name she did. Then I asked for her first name and she said that was her first name. So I said "oh ok, thought you said it was your last name". And then asked for her last name". There was silence and the line disconnected. :-D
Called with recording claiming to be IRS. I haven't had the time to call back yet and have a little fun with them. I know it's a scam but they almost got my boss. I had to scream at him from across the room that it was a scam. As soon as I did, they hung up on him. He was ready to give them information... scary how many people fall for this.
