We have been called quite often, then all of a sudden on Wed, 20 Aug 14, we were called by that number at 5:28 p.m., 8:04 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 8:37 p.m. and finally at 8:52 p.m. my husband answered it. Someone with a foreign accent started speaking and he could not understand, so he interrupted, told the person to stop calling and hung up. Guess we'll see this evening if they will quit. Our number is on the No Call list, but that doesn't seem to make any difference anymore. Wish these callers could be stopped and/or brought to justice--so unfair. A caller from another number did this a month ago. I tracked now the company, the number was listed to and they denied it. Said it was impossible from their number, as they do not have any employees working at night.
I got a woman with a very thick accent asking for someone who was definitely not me. I told her she had the wrong number, and she said, "I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for answering the phone. Goodbye." Totally weird.
The name on that showed up on caller ID was: Research Center.
A mans voice mumbled through his name and his company's name but clearly stated he was looking for a member of the household.
