They are calling me every 12 hours now. I block their number and the same "Research" name is in the caller ID display but with a different number. Grrrr! I never answer their calls - I just let the voice mail kick in and they never leave a message.
I took call and it was a valid political survey. They did not ask for personally identifiable information and were not marketing anything so I participated. It asked questions about local state government representatives running for office. Pretty much "How important is this for you..." and "if election were held today..." type questions.
Caller asked for my husband. I said he wasn't here. He wasn't. They said thank you for answering phone and hung up. Most likely political call as we are not registered to vote the same. Was not a foreign accent.
Why would they not have their name in caller ID if they were legit? Seems to be a spoofed number to me, and if spoofed seems to indicate criminal intent. I wouldn't talk to them if they offered to pay me by the minuet.
