Just another of what has been several hundred calls from "extended warranty" companies regarding a vehicle that is no longer owned. Despite numerous requests to remove me from their list, they keep calling using a new phone number
Answered call. Dead line. Scam. Guess they don't hire the brightest and the best. They need to find a legal way to earn money. They need to check the do not call list. Idiots.
They've been calling me ever since I bought my Dodge Caravan offering me an extended warranty. I already HAVE an extended warranty. They call me once or twice a month. Every time they call I ask them to take me off their list, since I already own the product they're hawking. They always promise to do so and yet my name never falls off the list.
Oh, and they also rotate numbers. Every time they call, I add the latest number to my "Ignore" list. I'm up to about 25 numbers. They're not all 586 numbers, either--they're also using some 248 numbers and some other exchanges in Michigan. Unfortunately, since I live in southern Michigan, it's not always apparent that a call is from these folks and not from someone I actually know. Frustrating.
