Just another of what has been several hundred calls from "extended warranty" companies regarding a vehicle that is no longer owned. Despite numerous requests to remove me from their list, they keep calling using a new phone number
Called wanting me to renew my warranty. I explained that my warranty wasn't expiring and I'm married to a master mechanic. His response," sure. Good luck getting your car fixed. Hope it breaks down!" And hung up on me!
I have received calls from this company repeatedly and in all incidents I have asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list, but the caller hangs up. The number has varied, but accordingly the call originates in Roseville, MI every time. I have attempted to return the call, but the number does not seem to be available for inbound calling.
The lady was calling about a warranty from a car I had in 08. Then she said she's calling about a warranty on whatever vehicle I'm driving now because it's expiring. She couldn't name the make or model and the car is a week old. She sounded drunk. Don't listen to that other person, it's a scam.
I talked with my dealership and they confirmed it is not anyone associated with them or the manufacturer. I threatened to call the police in one called and they immediately hung up.
