I got a note on my door too the note said that i have 24 hours too call the number back. If it were a collection agent he wouldnt have left one name on the card and wouldn't have his cell number on it either. I work for the IRS. If anyone gets a card like that its important u don't give any info regarding whatever it is. U don't go any
where to meet them and if they have legal documents for u tell them you will have ur lawyer collect them. If they ask u ur lawyers name they can have a city court contact u if the matter is real & not a scam. U will hear from the city not someone w only one name on the card. Come on people don't be stupid. Everyone has money issues these days don't think u owe anyone just because they claim u do u have rights use them.
Did they tell u u were being sued? I got a note taped to my door I was home when he left it there I never saw him if he had papers to serve me why didn't he see if I was home? Somethings seems off. I called the police the officer said its not uncommon for a state processor to leave their cell number on a card but what doesn't make sense is why the Guy didn't knock on my door? If anyone else has more info like they came to ur home did they hand u paperwork? ?? Ive got no idea why I would be getting sued I keep to myself?
I called the court house this Guy is a state processor. He serves ppl their court papers this is not likely a scam. Thought I'd let everyone know & if anyone has questions call the court house.
