They called a week ago and I declined to donate, the person made fun of me on the phone, they called again this week and I declined this time she called me "a life F-----g b---h" This is a scam I wish I could find the individual.
Received a call today from number 586-473-0000. The phone number looked like a scam number so I answered, not wanting them to call again. The lady sounded older and was asking for money to help the disabled Vets. This is truly hurting our disabled Vets when people are afraid to donate money to anyone over the phone. What a shame this scam is!
I answered the phone and it automatically rang and then a guy answered with a bad foreign accent. He said he was calling from California from a company called Windows Technical Support. He told me I had a Windows computer and I needed to turn it on and do some action. He said my number was registered to a windows microsoft computer and that is how they got my number. I don't own a windows computer. When I asked what the reason was for me to do this, he hung up the phone.
