These SCAMMERS have been calling for over a year. The fact is, there is NO SUCH ORGANIZATION AS "UNITED BREAST CANCER", which is what shows on the caller ID. So it's not like they donate a very low percentage to breast cancer research, it's more like they donate 100% of the funds to THEMSELVES. Why else would a caller work so hard to get you to donate if there wasn't something it in for them? JUST SAY NO.
This number called the office again moments ago. It's the same alleged breast cancer solicitor that has called my at home and possibly at the office numerous times as I recognize the female voice and lame joke about being "so hard" to get hold of.
However, I'm starting to suspect this voice is an interactive robocaller. Usually, a liver personal will respond to an interruption or a caller cutting them off with "I'm not interested." This particular caller didn't respond expect after pausing. I did tell her or it to stop calling here. But somehow I think that we'll get a call again in the near future from this or another number. At least now, I can confirm the number as a telemarketer on my ever-growing list of suspicious numbers and ignore it in the future.
