This number called me this afternoon looking for my mother. It turned out to be some charity solicitor that wouldn't take no for an answer. Fortunately, I can add this number to my call blocker so this entity gets a permanent no from me.
Received repeated unsolicited, unwanted calls from 586-482-8704 caller ID: CCI on our unpublished landline and plastered across our TV screen from the xfinity router phone number that we have not hooked up to a phone!!! The caller does not leave a message on the answering machine - total nuisance calls. All of our phone numbers are on the Do Not Call Registry - time for the government to find and fine these creeps!
Glad I ckd & thanks to everyone who provided info on scammers posing as a charity, perhaps especially something like breast cancer or perhaps any cancer. I & many others might be tempted, hence a good scamming scheme. Scammers approaches change frequently but their goal remains rigidly constant, get as much free money as possible. So tired of these people, another reason to let all unknown calls go to voice mail whenever possible. If I want to donate to ANYONE I will pick them, vett them & contact them directly. This scammer has called multiple times, never left a message, hasn't used the same number twice. The only thing that is the same is the area code
Answered, was told it was harder to get a hold of me than to get kids to clean their room. Talked over me until I said "Never will I donate to your 'Breast Cancer Cause'" Then she hung up on me. Feels good!

today's call came in a CCI I did answer
What the caller persisted in was getting me to commit to an amount of money.
