They are still going strong . Same scenario today with a listing on Craigslist

I put up a Craigslist ad for tires in San Diego.  This number is part of list of numbers, or ring of scammers that have tried the same scam. They will send a cashiers check, I pay the mover, etc. etc. It's all BS. Face to face, accept cash only. Here are the other numbers, 731-419-4571; 914-495-8125; 408-458-7547.  They all have the same script to follow.

This guy sent me a text today for tires that I'm selling in Orange County, CA.

"Can I send you a check for the sale and once the check clears will set-up pickup", is what he said.

I too have received from this number. Just one of many parasites on Craigslist. Sellers beware.

I just received the same message for a China Cabinet I listed on Craigslist.  He text me at 11:00pm asking if it is still available.  Normal people don't text for merchandise at 11pm.  Thanks for the heads up - I will not give him any of my information.
