This person is calling and texting my phone in reference to someone else's debt. She has called my family, called my job, threatened my job, called me out of my name using profanity to my grandmother, and I have nothing to do with the situation. It isn't my problem and they are ruining my life.
Report the calls/texts to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General. Let the caller know that you have reported her and that you are forwarding all texts to the FBI as well as recording all calls she makes to you on the advice of your attorney (even if you don't have one) for multiple violations of the FDCPA. Every time she calls, you will have to tell her she's being recorded - scammers don't like when you record them.
This woman is calling me and my family in reference to a friends debt. She is trying to blackmail me into giving information that I do not have. She claims to b a private investigator and said she is sending an agent to my home for an interview. She has personal information about me and has taken photos off my friends facebook page of me and text them to my cell phone. She called me names and threatened me as well. Of course this didn't go well with me I told her since she knew so much about me to come to my house and threaten me. I am contacting whomever I need to to make sure this stops. I will not be harrassed. If anyone has any info on who this is and what I need to do please let me know. I want a name. She never identified herself. I have all threats in text messages.
