it's a spoofed callerid - they are really calling from some turd world country, via voip, and supplying a (bogus) north american number for the callerid, because people are more likely to answer it.
it's not their real number, they're just using it for callerid, so you can't tell where they are really from. (at least they're using a number that's not in service - could you imagine if they used some poor, unsuspecting person's number, and all of a sudden they started getting thousands of angry callbacks?!)
I have received calls from this number at 8AM PST both yesterday and today. Did not answer either call.
The ID indicates the call is originating from Brookhaven, MS. I certainly don't know anyone there.
Any suggestions as to how I can get my number removed from this list?
