Paul I work for New Hampshire Exteriors and have for over 20 years. The reason there are different numbers is that we do our own telemarketing, and in order to facilitate multiple calls we need multiple phone lines. We do abide by fcc laws and maintian a do not call list. When a mistake is made the number is manually removed from our callig files. Its unfortunate that other companies don't abide by the laws and create a bad reputation for companies like ours. We ahve been in business for 23 years in the same location with the same ownership. Unlike most contractors we have know need to keep changing our name and location. We are a fully insured, full service company, who offers quality products at a fair price and a warranty we proudly stand behind. Please do your research before slandering our company.
I am the manager at nh exteriors and can assure you if you were told the number would be removed it has been. We do apologize for the intrusion. We are constantly washing our files against the federal Do Not Call List as well as maintaining our own list. We deal with millions of listings, so while it is possible a mistake can be made, we make every effort to ensure a proper database. These telemarketers that you hate so much are hard working people just trying to earn an honest living, probably just like you are. Don't lump us all together with other telemarking campaigns from other companies. We are a family owned business offering consumers an oppurtunity to educate themselves about home improvement projects so they can make a decision that will be best for them. Hopefully we will be able to EARN their business. Hope you have a great day
So, you came to 800notes to answer a complaint posted in 2013?
Not very timely, was it?
Lets see what the BBB has to say about your company:
23 complaints closed with BBB in last 3 years | 6 closed in last 12 months
Complaint Type Total Closed Complaints
Advertising / Sales Issues 16
Problems with Product / Service 7
Billing / Collection Issues 0

Looks like the majority of complaints were for "advertising / sales issues". I wonder if your cold-calls have been reported to the BBB, thus earning you that high number of complaints?
In addition, your repeated posts here look more like advertisements than simple responses to the posters' legitimate complaints. If it were not for your "answers", the thread would not have reappeared on the top page of 800notes, and would have eventually been forgotten.

Um ... there are legitimate telemarketers, and telespammers. The former group follows the Do Not Call list without excuses, and indeed have people trying to earn an honest living. The latter group ... well ... I am sorry, but your cold calling practices seem to award you a position in that group.
