Keep getting calls from this number and several like it from around the country and don't know who they are or what they want so can I he informed of who this is and y they keep calling me
You are hearing these message due to the recent LTE 4G upgrades, this is happening nationwide.
The reason is the towers are being shut off line to upgrade them forcing customers to less towers thus causing network capacity issues.
A few things you can try 1. turn the phone off then back on, 2. update the PRL and profile, 3. if you are still having the issues call customer care at 8882114727 and have then file a network ticket and ask to have the phone refreshed in the network. Hope this clears up any questions.
No good if they are calling a land line. It shows up as (Dir Assist KY) on my caller ID which is a land line. I have never had a cell phone so it might work for them. Still a dinosaur at 51 when it comes to those thing's. I figure if I'm home and want to talk to you I will. If I don't answer then I'm home or out and about and don't want to be bothered. :-)
i recently started getting calls just about everyday from the 606-555-0146 number. the last one at 659am today 1-17-15.
i usually dont answer but was half asleep this morning. it was a foreign speaking person and they ask me if i was having trouble with my windows on my computer???? i ask her if she knew what time it was , then she hung up on me!!!!! i also get calls from 406-555-0127 also. both numbers show up as dir asst (i guess which means directory assistance). which they are not. dont know how they get the id to show up like this. i found out it is a landline number. probably coming from some kind of business. with only outgoing calls and no incomming. just guessing tho.
