This is supposedly The American Cancer Society, but is certainly telemarketers. They call every day at all hours. They were calling me constantly from 7 other numbers starting with area code '866'. It has been around 5 days now that they are calling from this number. I am glad I have caller ID and just laugh these calls off. They can call me until doomsday and I will NEVER answer any of the calls. What losers. Why don't they get a life and get a REAL job.
If receiving calls from a charity and answered ask which fundraiser is calling. The charity itself uses multiple names to disguise who's calling. UNITED CANCER SUPPORT FOUNDATION, Alternate names: American Breast Cancer Support Association Cancer, Support Fund. They also use multiple fundraisers. Woman asked for me, I identified myself and she said "this is Trish from the Fund Raising Committee of the Cancer Group of America". She would not shut up for a second, while I was trying to tell her to take me off her call list. I'm on the NYS Do Not Call Registry - which obviously doesn't mean anything.
I get about 2 a day I have caller ID on the TV I think I will answer the next with my fav. Hello in a (crazy ) voice like I am deaf then my octave goes up & up & up I don't let them get a word in. Then I yell oh the friggin jerk must have the wrong number.If you do it just make sure you go up high in each hello hahaha after you scream they have the wrong # chances are they hung up I love doing that like I am a idiot hahahahha.
