Caller id from 1-800-626-6713 says auto insurance, they call constantly. I called back and pressed 1 to be removed from call list. I am hating these incessant calls ALL DAY!!
calls at least once per week, definitely from India, calling for US Solar - going on for months. This time I started with I am on the Federal Do Not call List and he said he wasn't soliciting, so apparently other people have said the same thing and he has since looked up details. I said selling is solicitation. Then I said I know he's calling from New York on a landline and that I am now reporting him to the government. He called back and hung up - perhaps to note my number and now leave me alone?? BTW, when you do report these guys via the do not call registry, do do get a reply. I imagine its takes lots of people reporting before they go after someone but it did stop one party from calling me about a year ago. https://www.donotcall.gov
