Man called and said my computer was going to die if I didn't update now. Told him I'll call Microsoft, told me to call the number back when I decided. Told him I'll call Microsoft and hung up.
Definitely a scam. A lady with a heavy Indian accent asked me to turn on my computer because the computer was having problems on the server. I told her that there was nothing wrong with my computer and that my computer was already on. I told her that she had the wrong number she said no this is your number and your name is Linda...nope wrong. She then hung up.
Heavily accented male ( Pakistan or India?) said my computer would crash within a week, and was very threatening. My advice would be not to pickup the phone call.
