yes i had someone that got a call and they claim they are a computer repair but what they are is a scam to get money for a fake insurance for computers
Got this number on my house phone at 8:05am, "PAY PHONE" is what displayed. Phoned number back right away, "You have reached a number that is disconnected..." This is second time I've received a call from "them" -- whomever "them" is!
I received a call from them at 7am saying that they were calling from my work and that my work computer had unwanted files on it that were damaging my computer. They then said that I should just log in to my computer and they would help me remove the files.
The phone cut in and out and I could hear my voice echoing on the line so I knew something was up. They cut out and didn't call back.
